New pool of jurors to be called for Monahan trial
Court will summon 300 new jurors for Monahan case
The prospective jurors who were originally scheduled to report to the Washington courthouse Monday morning to begin the selection process for the Monahan trial, will not be asked to report in January.
The county had summoned a pool of 300 prospective jurors to participate as the court seeks 12 jurors and an expected four alternate jurors.
The court tells NewsChannel 13 that the 300 people who were initially summoned will not be expected to participate in January and the county will call another 300 people.
