New tech in South Colonie sends tickets to drivers who pass stopped school busses

Albany County is starting a new initiative to keep your kids safe.

NewsChannel 13 told you about this before the school year started.

Starting Thursday, the county will introduce new safety technology installed in buses in the South Colonie Central School District.

Those cameras will go live, and start sending tickets to those who don’t stop when the stop-arm on the bus says they should.
