New York’s attorney general hopes to take further action in preventing kids from being harmed by social media.

Letitia James is now calling on Congress to requite warning labels on social media platforms.

This would be a surgeon general’s warning that you would find on something like a pack of cigarettes.

The attorney general says social media sites, as well as companies’ “addictive algorithms” provide mental unrest in many young children.

Forty-two attorneys general have signed off in that letter to Congress.
