You may have seen some outdoor bathrooms whizzing along the snow and ice in Saratoga County.

It was the return of the annual Outhouse Race at Tinney’s Tavern on Lake Desolation.

NewsChannel 13 was a sponsor of the event and also had a team.

There were 8 teams competing in the race. The outhouses had names like ‘The Royal Flush,’ and ‘Louie Loo,’ and they were mounted on skis or snowboards.

One helmeted person rode inside each outhouse on a toilet seat.

This year’s race will benefit two organizations: Expedition Yeti and Folds of Honor New York.
