Next court date set for Albany Med lockdown suspect
The next court date for Dino Savoca, the man charged in a lockdown at Albany Medical Center in March, is set for July.
A lawyer conference and compliance check was done on Tuesday, but Savoca wasn’t physically in court.
Savoca – allegedly armed with guns – barricaded himself in his 97-year-old mother’s room. Savoca’s mother died the day after the standoff. The hospital was in lockdown for hours.
Savoca’s charges include second-degree murder and attempted murder.
