A Niskayuna High School graduate has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for his role in the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Brandon Fellows was found guilty on five counts, including two felonies, last year.
He has already served three years in prison, but this sentencing will delay his release for another six months.
A phone video showed Fellows putting his feet up on the desk of U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley.
At his sentencing in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Fellows yelled at the jury foreperson and said he was in a “modern-day Nazi court.”
