Couple charged in 3-year-old daughter's death don't answer questions
The two parents of a 3-year-old girl in Corinth who died in February were back in court Tuesday afternoon after being charged last week with criminally negligent homicide.
Samantha Dylewski, 32, and Matthew Dylewski, 33, are accused of causing the death of their daughter Joycelynn Dylewski on Feb. 19. Investigators have said that she had been living in deplorable conditions with significant bug infestation at 231 Main St., Apt. 4.
The cause of her death was ruled a homicide due to complications of acute and chronic neglect, and that they had noticed the child also had body lice.

The couple appeared in Corinth Town Court on Tuesday afternoon. The judge refused to modify the court orders that bar contact with their children.
Afterward, one family member said that they had not seen an autopsy report and that they do not know what happened. When asked what are the facts of the case, Samantha Dylewski said: “you’ll know when they come out, I guess.”

Neighbor speaks about conditions child was living in
Neighbor speaks about conditions 3-year-old child was living in before she died.
Samantha’s sister told Kumi Tucker in a text message that “What everyone needs to know is that THEY ARE NOT GUILTY.”
Giselle Nadeau, who was a neighbor of the Dylewskis in Corinth, said it’s heartbreaking that nobody, including CPS, was able to prevent this horrible death.
“How can you let kids stay there? You know, and then this poor little girl dies, you know? It’s sad, sad,” she said.
