A parolee is facing new charges in Albany.
Lameik Kindred, 34, was stopped on Lexington Avenue between Central Avenue and Sherman Street on Thursday afternoon. That’s by the A&Y Grocery.
Police recovered a handgun during the stop, they said.
Kindred also allegedly had crack cocaine on him.
He is now facing weapon, drug and tampering with evidence charges – and was sent to jail.
