Person shot in attempted Schenectady home invasion

One person was shot while attempting to break into a home on Kings Road in Schenectady, said police.
It happened around 10:30 Tuesday night.

Two people inside the home shot at the suspects, hitting one of them in the upper body.

A handgun found inside the house was illegal, police said.

Two people – Legrant Foster, 28, and Pierre Thompson, 23 – are charged with burglary and reckless endangerment. Two others – Monique Serrano, 30, and David Jackson, 28 – are charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
