This comes after a Pittsfield woman, Shaloon Milord was hit on January 30th and later died from her injuries on February 5th.
She was walking out of the park with her three-year-old daughter.
The group believes the intersection on West Street is dangerous, with car traffic taking priority over pedestrians in a densely populated residential neighborhood.
The group has also created an online petition through change.org that calls on city officials to take action to slow vehicles, reduce crossing distances, and prioritize a corridor study of West Street.
The event starts at 1 p.m.
