Pittsfield Mayor Peter Marchetti is sending the Democratic National Committee an invoice for what it cost the city to host Vice President Kamala Harirs last month.
Pittsfield Mayor Peter Marchetti is sending the Democratic National Committee an invoice for what it cost the city to host Vice President Kamala Harris last month.
As NewsChannel 13’s Subrina Dhammi reported Monday, the total was $50,000 for security and overtime for the city when Harris visited on July 27 for a private fundraiser.
Marchetti is expecting the Harris campaign or the DNC to reimburse the city for that money, he said.
However, he also said he has not received a response to his requests.
