New plans have been announced for the old Southern Vermont College property.
The college closed about four years ago, and has sat vacant ever since.
Southwestern Vermont Health Care purchased the campus in 2020.
The company announced on Friday it has entered an agreement to sell the campus to Alfred Weissman Real Estate.
The developer plans to turn the campus into a five-star destination.
That will include renovating the Everett Mansion and dormitories into lodging, creating a restaurant and spa, and turning the gymnasium into an activities center and event venue.
