Police: Driver running stop sign crashes into school bus
No students were hurt after a crash involving a school bus on Thursday morning in Troy.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 117th Street and 5th Avenue. A driver ran a stop sign and crashed into the bus, Troy Police said. Three elementary-aged children were on board. They were not hurt.
The driver of the bus and other vehicle involved were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The driver of the vehicle was given a traffic citation for failure to stop at a stop sign, according to police.
