That is an act of reporting a false crime or emergency to produce an aggressive law enforcement response.
The calls were from outside the Capital Region, investigators said.
Schools will continue to have an increased police presence this week, according to Superintendent Jody Monroe.
After school activities, outdoor recess and physical education will resume, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 17.
