Police still looking for person of interest after local business is destroyed in massive fire

Gloversville police are asking for your help in identifying a person of interest in connection to a massive fire.
They appear to be young, wearing an orange shirt and riding a green bike.
The fire happened on Tuesday night on South Main Street and destroyed an old manufacturing building. Firefighters say they were able to save three buildings that were close to the fire. However, a nearby local pet store, Adirondack Exotics, was destroyed.
Darrin Palmateer, the owner of the pet store, shared how he is devastated to lose his animals and business.
“Nobody is in this for the money,” says Palmateer, “We do it because we love it. It’s gut-wrenching to think about, oh well now this is gone, this is gone. I’d be at work right now getting the animals ready to open for the day. And now I’m watching them tear down the building that started the fire that ruined my business.”
There is currently a GoFundMe set up for Adirondack Exotics. Anyone who knows the person in the video is asked to contact Gloversville police, specifically detective sergeant Andrew Wilson.
