Police: Queensbury woman had BAC over 3 times legal limit
A 45-year-old Queensbury woman was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.
State Police responded to a report of a car off the road on the Northway just before midnight Tuesday. The vehicle’s driver, Tracy L. Remington, was evaluated by EMS and refused further treatment. She was taken to the State Police station in Queensbury, where she blew a blood alcohol level of 0.27%. The legal limit is 0.08%.
Remington was charged with a felony count of driving while intoxicated because she has a previous conviction within the last 10 years.
She was issued tickets and is due in Queensbury Town Court on Jan. 8.
