Police: Three people stole over $2,000 worth of items from Walmart
Three people are accused of shoplifting over $2,000 worth of merchandise from the Wilton Walmart.
State Police responded to Walmart on Dec. 14 at about 1:36 p.m. for a report of a shoplifting incident. When troopers arrived, they found the vehicle that contained the suspects. The driver was Jessica Burroughs, 28, of Fort Eward. The passengers were Victoria M. Dones, 47, and Daniel B. Coffin , 30, both of Schenectady.
The stolen items were recovered from the vehicle, police said.
Burroughs and Coffin were charged with a felony count of grand larceny and Dones was charged with petty larceny.
They were released on appearance tickets and are due back in Wilton Town Court on Jan. 2.
