Rainy weather causing bees to nest in Capital Region homes

All the rain we’ve been having appears to be causing bees to set up nests inside homes.
The yellow jackets and wasps are taking cover from all the rain – and finding the smallest entry.
So how you can spot this problem? First, you’ll likely hear them if they’re building a nest in your wall. It could sound like a can wrinkling or the “snap, crackle, pop” sound that Rice Krispies makes in milk.
Next – go outside to see if you spot bees on the outer wall of that same spot.
Once the problem is taken care of, make sure all openings are sealed.
Meet one man whose job it is to safely take care of the problem – and see how he does it – by watching the video of Subrina Dhammi’s story.
