Rensselaer man charged with witness tampering in attempted murder case
A Rensselaer man is charged with witness tampering.
Jeffrey Everett was sent to the Albany County Jail, on criminal charges of attempted murder in the second-degree, the sheriff’s office said.
Everett used another inmate’s pin to call a witness, trying to convince her to not show up to testify in his case, investigators said.
Everett will be arraigned on two counts of tampering with a witness.
