NewsChannel 13 is working to obtain more information about the cause of a helicopter crash in March that killed two local National Guard members and seriously injured a third.

The crash on March 8 happened near the U.S.-Mexico border. It killed Casey Frankoski and John Grassia III and seriously injured Jacob Pratt.

A fourth passenger, a U.S. border patrol agent also was killed.

NewsChannel 13 filed a Freedom of Information Act request seeking an update on the investigation. We received a reply from the U.S. Army saying that the request for the Safety Accident Investigation report is being processed.
