Dozens of Troy residents have been told to evacuate a building at 150 Delaware Avenue.
The Troy Codes Department deemed the building unsafe.
Owners failed to provide an engineer report, said Troy Mayor Patrick Madden, and a brick façade is making things dangerous for residents.
One neighbor said they were told they have 30 days to remove their belongings, but can’t sleep in the apartment building.
The city has a helpline people can use. That number is (518) 279-7156.
Meantime, a Red Roof Inn is allowing people to stay for a few nights.
