Russell Sage College selling some buildings on Troy campus
Russell Sage College has begun selling a couple buildings on the outskirts of its main campus in Troy.
The sales were part of a strategic facilities plan made a couple of years ago.
Properties include 39-45 Congress St., which currently serves as residential hall spaces, and storefronts at 47 and 53-55 Congress St. across the campus, which are a former Bruegger’s Bagels and a bookstore for the college. The properties went up for sale earlier this month.
The facilities study recommended Russell Sage focus investments on the main campus in Troy, as opposed to areas located on the outskirts, the college said.
Russell Sage also has a campus in Albany.
