St. Peter's Health Partners suing AG to stop investigation into closure Burdett Birth Center.
St. Peter’s Health Partners is suing Attorney General Letitia James to stop her investigation into the closure of the Burdett Birth Center.
St. Peter’s hosted a forum Wednesday night to answer questions about how officials plan to continue care as Rensselaer County’s only birthing center is set to close.
However, the facility cannot be closed without approval from the Department of Health.
James has been unfair with her subpoenas for information, St. Peter’s said.
