Saratoga Springs man accused of killing roommate with pellet-style gun back in court

The man accused of shooting and killing his roommate with a pellet gun was in Saratoga Springs City court Tuesday.
Brendan Carl is accused of shooting Michael Collins in the back with a pellet-style long gun. It happened at their home at 66 Warren St. around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Collins was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he later died.
Carl’s case was adjourned until May 15.
Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen told NewsChannel 13 that it did not appear to be an intentional act.
