Saugerties man accused of breaking into Westerlo home

A man from Saugerties is arrested for allegedly breaking into an unoccupied property on County Route 405 in Westerlo and stealing.

Matthew Doyle, 40, forced his way inside last November, damaged the property, and then stole items from the inside, investigators said.

Doyle was taken to Latham for processing from the Ulster County Jail, where he was being held on an unrelated matter. He was arraigned and then returned to jail in Ulster County.
