Around the Capital Region, ten wooden tokens were hidden by Iron Tree Financial, a firm located in Latham. Mark Esslie, the company’s managing director, came up with the idea to pair his affinity for scavenger hunts with Iron Tree’s philanthropy. Each token is worth a $1,000 donation to a local charity and the person who finds the token will receive a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant in the Capital Region.
