Schenectady County to sue insulin makers, claiming prices inflated

The Schenectady County Legislature on Tuesday voted to join a lawsuit against insulin manufacturers.

The lawsuit claims that manufacturers artificially inflated the drug’s price. The county released a statement saying:

“We’re committed to seeking justice and reclaiming taxpayer funds by pursuing legal action against big pharmaceutical companies responsible for artificially inflating insulin prices.”
