Schenectady homeowners may soon get $250 rebate

Some homeowners in Schenectady County will be getting a check in the mail.

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a law last Friday which allows the county to enact a rebate program.

The program will give more than 34,000 homeowners $250 in relief, which is about 9 million dollars total.

Officials say they put the program in place to fight inflation.
