A Schenectady man is accused of having a gun illegally.

Watervliet Police stopped Tarif N. Daughtry, 29, on Sept. 5 for a traffic violation. He had a revolver and an unlawful amount of cannabis, police said.

Daughtry was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of cannabis.

He was arraigned in Watervliet City Court and released to probation.
