Schenectady man accused of starving daughter pleads not guilty
The man accused of starving his young daughter to death pleaded not guilty in Schenectady County Court to the charges against him.
Robert Buskey, 33, is accused of not providing food or water to his 5-year-old daughter Charlotte. She was found dead inside her home at 203 Elmer Ave. on April 14.

Buskey’s 3-year-old son had cocaine in his system, according to investigators.
Buskey was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter, two counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance to a child, criminal sale of a controlled substance, acting in a manner to injure a child and failure to exercise control over a minor as well as tampering with evidence.
Buskey is due back in court on July 12.
