Schenectady man convicted of murder in Pittsfield slaying
A Schenectady man was found guilty Friday of murdering a 19-year-old man in 2021.
Carlos Lewis, 26, was convicted of second-degree murder and first-degree burglary following a jury trial, according to the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office.
Lewis is expected to receive 25 years to life in prison when sentenced on Feb. 26.
Lewis was one of three people charged in connection with the death of Pittstown resident Nathaniel Miller on June 9, 2021.
Kyle Hutchinson was found guilty of murder and burglary in 2023 and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
Devin Van Patten also has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing.
