Schenectady school superintendent finalist to lead Yonkers district

The Schenectady superintendent of schools is a finalist to lead the Yonkers public schools.

Schenectady district spokeswoman Karen Corona confirmed that the Board of Education is aware that Superintendent Anibal Soler Jr. is a finalist for the position.

The district had no additional information to share.

Soler has been at Schenectady since 2021. Before that, he was superintendent of Batavia City School District in Genesee County.
