The superintendent of the Schenectady City School District is leaving for Yonkers. Anibal Soler Jr. will take over New York's third largest school district starting in May.

Anibal Soler Jr. will take over New York’s third largest school district starting in May.
Soler has served as Schenectady superintendent since 2021.
He was named as a finalist for the Yonkers job at the start of this month and was confirmed Tuesday by a vote of 8 to 0.
