The sentencing of a man who stabbed his ex-girlfriend on the Hudson Valley Community College Campus has been adjourned.
The sentencing of a man who stabbed his ex-girlfriend on the Hudson Valley Community College Campus has been adjourned.
Zymeir Walton, 22, was supposed to be sentenced on Wednesday. No new date for the sentencing has been set, his attorney said.
Walton was on trial for trying to kill his ex-girlfriend.
In the middle of his trial last month, he suddenly pleaded guilty to his role in the stabbing, plus assault and robbery. Documents accused Walton of stealing the victim’s car.
Walton had originally pleaded not guilty and claimed the stabbing was self-defense.
