Watervliet police warn of serial drunken driver

Watervliet police say they are dealing with a serial drunk driver.

Police say Brandon McKinley has received seven DWIs in the last 14 years.

He was arrested in May, after police say they found him drunk at the Stewart’s on 2nd Avenue.

He was taken to Albany County Jail and released on bail a few days later.

Then in June, police say he was found driving drunk again.

Then on July 7, Watervliet officers say he was once again arrested for DWI.

Investigators say he failed to have an interlock device on his car during each of the incidents.
