Settlement finalized in class action pandemic lawsuit against RPI
A settlement has been finalized in a class action lawsuit against RPI that involved the pandemic.
A settlement has been finalized in a class-action lawsuit against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
A federal district court judge granted final approval of a $6.5 million settlement.
The lawsuit alleges that students enrolled at RPI did not get an in-person, on-campus education after the school transitioned to remote learning during the pandemic.
The settlement includes all students enrolled during the spring and summer semesters in 2020.
