Shenendehowa schools leader Robinson retiring after 20 years

The leader of Shenendehowa schools is stepping down after two decades.
Superintendent Dr. L. Oliver Robinson has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2024-25 school year. His last official day will be June 30, 2025.
“For the past two decades, it has been a privilege to lead Shenendehowa and serve this incredible community,” said Dr. Robinson in a statement. “Together, we’ve built a district known for excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics. I’ll always cherish the relationships I’ve formed and the shared commitment to helping students succeed.”
“I believe the district is well-positioned for continued success, and I’m proud of the legacy we’ve created together,” Robinson added.
Shenendehowa Board of Education President Petra Holden thanked Robinson for his years of dedicated service and said she is committed to a smooth transition.
The board will discuss the next steps at its next meeting on Tuesday, April 8.
