Sheriff: Ballston Spa man caused major damage to person’s car on purpose

A Ballston Spa man is accused of causing major damage, slashing a person’s tires and using a car jack to damage the front windshield and rear window.
James R. Meade, 26, allegedly drove to LaQuinta Inn & Suites on Route 9 in Queensbury to confront a male acquaintance, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened Sunday morning just before 11 a.m. Meade damaged the vehicle and then left the scene, police said. Officers found him on Route 9N in the town of Lake George.
Meade was charged with felony second-degree criminal mischief and held pending arraignment in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court.
