Shooting injures man in Glens Falls
One man was injured after being shot in Glens Falls on Wednesday.
Officers responded to a report of a man with gunshot wounds near the corner of North Pearl Street and Lawrence Street around 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police found shell casings at the scene, they said.
The victim was taken to Glens Falls Hospital and later sent to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
Police found and interviewed a person of interest.
The investigation is ongoing. It appears to be an isolated incident, police said. They are not releasing the names of the parties or their relationship at this time.
Lawrence Street, Ridge Street and Cherry Street were closed to traffic for a time Wednesday evening.
