Six Democrats vying to replace Pat Fahy in the Assembly

Six Democrats vying to replace Pat Fahy in the 109th Assembly District. The winner will take on Republican Alicia Purdy in November.

Six Democrats are facing off in Tuesday’s primary to succeed Assemblywoman Pat Fahy.

Fahy has held the seat since 2013, but she is running for state Senate. Seeking to replace her in the Assembly are: Gabriella Romero, Osusu Anane, Ginne Farrell, Dustin Reidy, Andrew Joyce and Jack Ryan.

The winner will face off against Republican Alicia Purdy in November.

The 109th Assembly District covers Albany, Guilderland and New Scotland.
