Snow moving in late Wednesday night
A cold front will pass through this evening with very little precipitation. It will turn much colder behind the front with lows in the 20s.
Sunshine on Wednesday will give way to increasing clouds. It will be seasonably cool with highs back into the lower 40s. A wave of low pressure will quickly move through the region on Wednesday night, bringing the chance of snow before sunrise on Thursday. Temperatures will be close to freezing overnight and the best chance of some accumulating snow will be in the hills and mountains, especially north of I-90.
Any rain or snow showers will exit early Thursday morning, giving way to some sunshine. Highs will stay in the 40s during the afternoon.
Expect another big warm-up as we head toward the weekend with highs in the 50s Friday and 60s Saturday and Sunday. There is an increasing chance of rain on Sunday as another cold front approaches.
