Spectrum 8 Theaters to reopen Wednesday
Spectrum 8 Theaters will be reopening on Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The theater at 290 Delaware Ave. in Albany had closed in February. It has been taken over by Scene One Entertainment, which also operates the Wilton Mall cinema and Bow Tie Cinemas in Saratoga Springs.
The event will take place at 11 a.m.
To celebrate the reopening, the theater will be showing films that honor the theater’s heritage over the years, including “Polyester,” complete with authentic Odorama scratch-and-sniff cards.
All films on Wednesday will be $5 and all proceeds benefit YouthFX.
