The New York State Board of Elections is investigating an incident in which incorrect poll site information went out to Albany County voters.

A text went out statewide with incorrect polling information, according to Albany County Board of Elections Democratic Commissioner, Kathleen Donovan.

The organization that sent the text, FTW, sent another text saying they sent the wrong information to people.

Donovan received a text with the correct address but wrong location name, she said. She also received the later text saying the organization sent the wrong information.

The state Board of Elections said that voters should visit their website to look up their polling place.
