State lawmakers approve stopgap bill to fund government through Monday

The state budget will officially be more than three weeks late – as lawmakers approved another stopgap measure on Thursday.

This latest bill will fund the government through Monday.

The budget was due April 1.

This is now the fourth temporary spending measure approved, as lawmakers continue to negotiate over key issues, including bail reform changes and housing.
