Pittsfield Police identify suspect accused of stabbing two people
Pittsfield Police have identified the suspect arrested for allegedly stabbing two people.
Officers responded a residence on Harvard Street around midnight Wednesday for a report that a man and woman had been stabed. They were transported to Berkshire Medical Center. The man had more severe injuries. Both are expected to survive, police said.
Jacob Frusciente, 32, was arrested and charged with one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury.
Frusciente is believed to be acquainted with the victims, police said.
He was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on Thursday.
