‘The Gilded Age’ filming brings road closures, parking restrictions to Schenectady
The popular HBO series “The Gilded Age” is filming in Schenectady starting this weekend.
There are some temporary parking restrictions in the city to be aware of.
These are in place starting on Sunday night, Aug. 11, at 8 p.m. through Thursday night, Aug. 15, at 11 p.m.
The streets affected are:
– Washington Ave from Union Street to the Dead End
– Union Street from Washington Ave to North Ferry Street
– Front Street from Washington Ave to North Church Street
– North Church Street from Liberty Street to Front Street
– State Street in front of the former YMCA
There will be “no parking” signs in these areas, Schenectady Police said.
Washington Avenue from Front Street to Union Street will also be closed Monday through Thursday from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
