The Red Cross aids two after Broadalbin Fire
The American Red Cross is assisting two people after a fire early Friday morning on Hideaway Road in Broadalbin, Fulton County.
The fire started at around 1:33 a.m. when the back of the house became fully engulfed in flames, the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company said.
The fire also heavily damaged a second house.
National Grid was also on scene to help with live wires that fell.
It is unknown if anyone was injured.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for necessities such as shelter, food, and clothing.
Volunteers also offered emotional support, health services, and comfort kits containing personal care items.
