Albany Police used a drone with thermal imaging to find a missing person and get him treatment.

It happened Saturday evening around 5:30 p.m., they said.

Officers responded to Sand Street after hearing concerns about a man who had left his home, they said.

Police initially tracked the man through his cell phone, then he
started running through the woods behind Slingerland Street.

First responders treated the 39-year-old man and took him to Albany Medical Center.
