Boy, 7, among victims in three separate Albany shootings

A 7-year-old boy was shot in Albany on Saturday. It was just one of three shootings in the city that day.
The young boy was struck in his hand around 10:30 p.m. near Second and Ontario streets, police said. A 37-year-old man was also hit in the back.
Both victims were taken to Albany Medical Center and are expected to be OK.
About an hour or so later, two men walked into Albany Medical Center – one shot in the leg, one shot in the torso. The men were shot at First and Swan streets, police said. They are expected to be OK.
Meantime, police continue to investigate a homicide in the city on Saturday. Stanley Tyrone, 47, of Albany was shot outside a barber shop on Second Avenue, said police. He was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center.
Two other people – a 9-year-old boy and 19-year-old man – were also hit in that same shooting. They are expected to survive.
