Trailblazing Hollywood actress to be first Asian-American on US currency

Anna May Wong will become the first Asian American to appear on U.S. currency.

Wong’s image will be imprinted on quarters across the country.

Wong had a trailblazing acting career. She is recognized as Hollywood’s first Asian American movie star, appearing in more than 60 films.

Wong was awarded a star on the Hollywood walk of fame in 1960. She died in 1961 at age 56.
